Shakespeare lovers, teachers and students can now follow the bard’s advice, “Go search like nobles, like noble subjects,” with the help of a search engine devoted exclusively to matters Shakespearean. The new search engine, named ‘Shakespeare Searched’ (shakespeare.clusty.com), provides quick access to passages from Shakespeare’s plays and sonnets. Search results are clustered by topic, work and character to make it easy to find the targeted information. Using the Web site, one can identify who said a particular quote or even discover underlying thematic elements across the bard’s work. And yes, the Web site is totally ad-free.

www.clipmarks.com
Today’s Web site is a user-driven news and knowledge site. Here, users post the most interesting bits of information they find on the Internet – and the community determines which ones get the most visibility by popping their favourites to the top. The site aims at feeding people with as much information in as little time as possible. There is a 2,000-word limit on every clip, which helps with this purpose.

Get sucked into the tranquil almost meditation-like hobby of watching and appreciating clouds. The Web site, appropriately named www.cloudappreciationsociety.org helps users to get into “cloud watching” and encourages its members to post pictures of them. Needless to say the site has almost 2,000 pictures of clouds in shapes ranging from angel wings to animals to some that are too spectacular to explain. The site lets you rate the pictures and even chat with other cloud enthusiasts.

Those still wondering about “how monkeys could possibly be our ancestors” would do well to visit the online archives of Charles Darwin’s work at www.darwin-online.org.uk. As of now, the archive is not yet complete, and manuscripts and other material will be added over the next two years. Still, readers can expect to find myriad of Darwin’s rare manuscripts and notebooks that dealt with evolution of species on the site – many of which are appearing online for the first time. Most of the material comes from the Darwin Archive housed at Cambridge University.

I recently i.e on 11th November 2006 completed 1000th post on http://forums.digitalpoint.com .. herez a link 1000 Posts. I havent been an avid poster in DP but really love the ppl and all my fellow DP members :).
I am currently developing a few new concepts (its high time I developed a few of my ideas). I am really worried about my attitude (lazy) as I think of so many concepts but never implement them (excluding a few exceptions) and after a few years see that concept utilized effectively by some one else.
After my accident (my vehicle overturned on 20th Oct 2006) have been having a horrible time with my injured knee. The wound is about 1 inch deep and is now healing very nicely THANK GOD for that (I was very close to losing my life). Sitting alone with my computer I have been spending a lot of time posting at DP and reading stuff. Lets see what this next week throws up now :)

How many times has this happened to you? You have an important document that needs to be sent to a client or a friend. But it later turns out that the other party does not have the software to open up your document. This is where www.zamzar.com comes in. The site is an online file conversion resource that will convert any file to any other related file format. There is a 100MB limit per file, but the service is completely free.
