Yes, finally the moment that I (and everyone in my family) was waiting for with bated breath arrived. My beautiful beloved wife gave birth to a baby. Its a boy weighing 3.25 kg and I dont have words to describe the immense happiness, the excitement, the sudden ease of the grappling tension while my wife was going through her labor. At 12:53 pm we heard the baby cry and everyone was rejoicing… I better stop here as I am too excited right now.. I have videos of my baby.. will upload them for all to watch. I am a happy man Thank you, God for the wonderful experience.

The Cute Cobra

Cobra Snake

Got a snap of this creature roaming about outside our Bungalow. Very beautiful indeed. Was bout 6 feet in length and had a very nice hood. Found it difficult to get a proper snap with the snake moving quickly. Have a few more will upload soon.

Major changes in Google Serps

There have been some good changes in the google serps within last 24 hours. The general trend of this shift was towards showing the new websites which had unexpectedly received some good rankings since the last update their proper place (I expect such websites to drop even further down the google drain sooner than later). Though the SERPs shift daily but a few websites do maintain their rankings.. thanks to their relevant links (bought or natural ??). Their is talk amongst the webmasters that the google PR update would also occur this weekend. Webmasters are in the surprise zone as the PR update has been evading them since last month. Many of the webmasters make good money selling of the links for PR and its a hot trading commodity if you have high Pager Rank.

Great day for India

Yuvraj Singh hit Stuart Broad for six sixes in one over to get a record 12 ball half century and in doing so took India to a massive total 218 runs. India has won this game by 18 runs margin, which shows that Indias bowling still lacks the killer instinct. But a win is a win which keeps India in contention in this 20-20 worldcup

Ignorance and how you can rip it off!!

Today at digitalpoint.com, one webmaster showed off a url :http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&safe=off&num=00&q=make+money+online

Webmasters can usually come to conclusions pretty fast and the OP concluded google banned the keyword :D. While the real reason for the results not showing up was pretty simple.. num=00 <– succeeds the num=100 which means the number of results to be shown by google = 00 . The webmasters started making a lot of fuss about this and one of them even created a blog @ amitbhawani.com/blog/google-removes-keywords-from-serps/, now it has been updated after the “great” exploit was figured out to be a silly mistake. Now where is this ignorance going to lead us, many readers dont bother reading the the thread and post whatever comes to their mind after reading the first post. Ah ! Its time for the INdia-Kiwis cricket match - so I am off from this blessed webmaster world for a 2 hrs

The contest fever has started and Mike the Blogmaster has started a directory contest at directorycontest.com where in the directory has to maintain a regular link without any on-page optimization (though some of them have twisted the rules and are using it - excuse is that all other pages have similar setup). Viral Marketing with Avatars

Recently there has been a new trend of viral marketing - all started by Stuart of Site-Sift.com (a very nice guy), and continued by Jeff (sevenseek.com) - The marketing revolves around flooding forums with avatars specific to your website. It has started as a christmas special but I doubt it will end here, its bound to continue for a long time now. All these avatar hijacks is making DP look like uhmmm you figure it out.

Blood Cancer - Bone Marrow Cancer - The Killer

This week has been the worst yet of 2006. A 3 year old kid who was recently diagnosed with blood cancer (bone marrow cancer) was hospitalised 48 hrs after diagnosis and given chemotheraphy treatment, which reacted very badly and the boy lost his life in the next 16 hrs. It has saddened my heart to no bounds. His parents couldnt come to terms with the sudden loss of their boy child. It has been a week now and I could blog about this earlier. This blog post is dedicated to the loving memories of the 3 year old (I cannot disclose his name as havent taken permission from his parents about it).
